This link page serve two purposes. The first is to provide site members and visitors a place to quickly find (as they have been alphabetized within a specific category) the sites they have a need to visit.
However, the second reason is SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization. To get a high ranking on search engines, a site has to have its url linked on highly visited SEO Optimized sites. MoparStyle is such a highly visited SEO Optimized site, so a listing on this site helps greatly with increasing your site’s ranking. Option One:
Option One is to have your Mopar Orientated “Safe” web site linked on this page. The below are the simple and realistic rules we have to ensure the visitors of this page are presented only with quality and appropriate links.
- Site must be Mopar Specific. You must produce a product, provide a service, or otherwise have information of use to people who own Mopar Street Cars, Race Cars, or Trucks.
- Site must not contain Porn. We only want family safe sites. We will initially review applicants for porn, and disallow those links to sites containing it.
- No hate. We do not wish to link to racists sites of any type. We will investigate complaints of our links to hates sites, and remove them if indeed the site promotes hate.
- No Malware or redirects to Malware. Links will not be allowed if our visits have our Malware sniffer indicating that the site installs any Malware, Viruses, or Trojans.
- No Broken links. To keep this page accurate and fresh, we routinely check for broken links, and remove those links if broken for 30 or more days.
There is a small $10 setup fee to cover the labor to review the site for appropriateness, and add it to the pages in the appropriate category. If you have an appropriate site and wish to add a link to it here, use the PayPal form below.
Once your site is listed — it will remain listed for the life of MoparStyle (now in its 11th year – est. 2001) so long as it complies with the rules stated above.
You can request a new category for your links, and if appropriate and in the best interest of the integrity of the link’s page — we will comply. However we reserve the right to put the link in the category we feel to be most appropriate after or review.
As the Link’s site grows, we will add more categories, sub-categories and pages — and continue to arrange the links to the most appropriate.
There is no requirement to place a reciprocating link on your site, but it would be a nice gesture.
Option 2
For those who do not have a Mopar related web site or do not have the $10 setup fee to be listed on this page, there is a “Shared Link” page. It works by having you place our link (exactly as outlined on the page) on your site, and then filling out the short form on the page. We check for the link, and if it is there as required, we approve yours and it automating get listed. In the sidebar there are 10 random shared links with a link for more.
Our link on your site is frequently verified, and your link automatically removed if ours is not found on your site. The whole process is automatic — so there is not a set up fee as in Option 1.
While your site doesn’t have to be Mopar related — all of the other rules of Option 1 will still apply.
Option two helps greatly in Search Engine Optimization, by having your link on a very active site — but don’t count on a whole lot of visitors directed from MoparStyle. It just won’t be used by the MoparStyle members or visitors nearly as much as this Mopar Links Page.
So in a Nutshell, if you want to inform Members and Visitors of the existence of your Safe Mopar oriented site — Plus benefit from a higher search engine score — Option One is the best Option.
If you have a safe site that is not Mopar Applicable, but still wish to benefit by having a link to your site on a highly visited site — Option Two will work for you.
