Default restoring a 64 polara convertible

    Hi All,
This is the first time I have ever posted to ANYTHING. So a totally new experience. I have no idea how this works, how to respond; well, you get the idea!
Just like to introduce myself. Just arrived back with A 64 POLARA 500 convertible from Denver. It was stripped to bare metal before I bought it. I have since removed the rest of pieces still attached, and it is in the body shop for the next month. Needed a left rear wheel arch, Left rear bottom of the quarter panel and a little patch on the bottom rear of the passenger door. Other than that it is in pretty good shape. Going to redo it like the one I sold 27 years ago. Black exterior, red interior, white roof, and Fury dash as was used in the Canadian cars. Drive train looks original 383 4 barrel dated 1963, with 727. Going to have to find some parts as the previous owner seemed to lose a few pieces.
Anyway, really looking forward to making contact with a few other mopar addicts. (Assuming I figure out out how I get messages from you, and how to respond)
If someone can explain to me how to attach a picture to this, I would do so.
    Fred

Welcome. Think you need more posts to put pictures up but an easy way is through a photo site similar to Imageshack or the like.

try copying the picture , then pasting it in where you write . Try that first . If that fails for you ,then let me know where it's at I'd be happy/anxious to help out .

Looks like I need to post a few more times before I can put a picture up, and figure out exactly how it is done. I also have a 1929 Chrysler rumble seat coupe I restored in the late 60's, early 70's. Still have it, and it still runs great. You will be able to see a pic and it's story at my website. Apparently I can't post a link yet either.( need to have more posts) I plan to get my web person to put up a running commentary and pictures of the Dodge restoration. Just heard back from the guy doing the body work that the car is ready to go over to the paint shop. So hopefully I can start putting it back together in April.
    Nice hearing from you all.
