    Default Walter P Chrysler Museum

Anybody that is in the Detroit Michigan area must go to the Chrysler Museum. I have been to Detroit many times and never went until this last trip. Took the whole family and all enjoyed it. From the history and historical cars to the prototypes on display it was well worth the price of admission. The highlight was the "garage" that is in the basement. This display was fantastic and the "driver’s seat" set-up was fun to check out. As I stated this is a must see in the area and if you can go on a Thursday during the summer as that is the cruise night there and participants get a reduced rate to the museum.

Some day I'll get to go and visit as much as I can see in the land of the big 3. There's a lot of history there that shaped the way we live as Americans and well.... a lot that shaped the way the world works today as we know it.

People working there were very nice and helpful. One person walked us to where they sugest you start and explained the best way around the building. He also explained the time line of Chrysler and what all has been a part of it. Appon leaving thre werer free Jeep posters (current highlight) and we were unable to locate one of the two they had available so the worker took the display one out and let us have that one.

A MoparWiki should ultimately be done on the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. Do you think there are people there who would collaborate on a Wiki for it?
