    whts up guys my 1991 d250 360ci carburated truck took on a little water i went through it and the truck killed completely and made no sound when turning the key and this morning it tries to crank over. any ideas on what i should look for to get it started

    pull all the plugs, spin it over and see if water comes out...
    His car wasn't that fast, I caught him on the return road and passed him in the pits.

    A lot of electronics on today's vehicles. Flooded cars a much bigger problem than it was was prior to the 80s

    i got it i tapped on the starter after it sat and dried over night and it cranked right up with a little bit of smoke at first

    How deep of water did you go through? I would open up the air cleaner and see if there's anything in it. Also, check your power steering pump, transmission and rear end. I pushed water over the hood of my 79 and water got into a lot of stuff....but it kept running. Once I got out of it, I noticed my PS pump had water in it but there wasn't anything I could do about it at that time so I drove on. Once I got home, the PS pump looked fine.
