That's cool.

I remember these cars when they first came out. ZERO joke, very quick. I can't imagine a small block stuffed in there.
That's cool.

It's like a small block A body, that's their weight class. Probably 240hp or so. Shouldn't have any trouble moving down the road and then some. Probably whip on much of the stuff out in the street with the power/weight ratio and that gearing setup. It'd be pretty fun for sure.

They handle like a sonofagun. Maybe the grunt of an a-body, but certainly with more control.
Now.... if only it were a stroker 360 *evil grin*
I bet the teen killed the handling

Instant reaction would make me agree, but the engine bays of those coquest/starion cars were heavily populated. From the looks of it, this guy knew very well what he was doing and I wouldn't doubt if it handles pretty close to the same. Homeboy shaved the proper weight in exchange for the oomph, it appears.
I'm really liking this car the more I see it.

It's probably added 100 lbs and looks set back pretty far like they put the 904 toward the back of the 5-speed's location.
I've not tried the handling out. What it is for sure is a 20 year newer car, so it's very different. Essential serves the purpose of a V8 RWD Lazer.
And yes, a mean motor in that would make it pretty sweet.
It's a built 318 powered hot rod!
How cool is that!
