Good afternoon, everyone. It's about that time that I'm getting serious about moving my power plant into another Mopar. My body is just too embarrassing and rotted along with those pesky hard to find parts. So here's the question. What would be most suitable for me, a Dart, Duster, or other? Engine is a 318 from a 72 Coronet, so is the drive shaft, and rear. The trans is a TCI 904 (on the floor).
I'm looking for something that's going to be the least amount of a headache to do this to. Got everything I need to do it at my dad's shop. I do have a pretty respectable amount of funds I'm willing to spend in order to look for a clean body (good luck, right?). I started the ebay searching last night, and I'd love to pick something up local which is New Jersey for me so that leaves Pennsylvania and New York options, but wouldn't mind getting the car shipped even thought I don't know the cost of that.
I'd highly appreciate any feedback from you guys. Thanks in advance.

Duster will move almost everything over with ease, perches would need to change.
After you do the shell of the F is worth reselling as a roller or keeping as a roller.

I'd really love to find a Duster. It's such a gorgeous body to me which strongly resembles my Volare Road Runner. I'm curious of how much "fun" it'd be to put the engine in, maybe I'd have to redo the headers again cuz we all know how much fun headers are. Hopefully a Duster would be easier to find parts for, too. (Like the fuel sending unit I'm yet to find for my car)

Well, you can find more parts easier but they'll cost more.
Easiest would be to get a V8 car with no engine. A Duster, Valiant ('67 to before 1974, not a Scamp), and a Barracuda would all use lots of parts. Same as Dart Sports and Demons.

I'm partial to B and E body cars but I like the mid 60's B's the best....just more room in them than the A's. The E's are nice too except it takes some doing to get the door glass setup well enough to not sound like the doors are falling apart when they are shut. Have never felt real comfortable in the A bodies...but that said, I really like the styling of the 67-69 Darts and had a 67 and a 69.
I think my pig's thong was too tight because she died.....

With engine, without, doesn't make a difference. Many times the rollers are solid cars or scrapped. Easiest would probably one with an unknown engine/drivetrain and put yours in after pulling its' out.
Definitely post pics of the F though.
You'll be stepping down in comfort with anything.
