I've got a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer 2 door sedan with (I'm told) a 273 motor out of a 1965 Plymouth. How do I check this? Where do I find the serial number and will that tell me what year it is? Pictures are in the Garage.

Welcome to the site! The block should also have casting numbers on the side below the heads which will tell you when the block was cast. Usually, the casting date will be in the year before the car was built.....
