Going to build up a stock pile of magnum stuff just in case I rebuild the White Magnum or turn it into a CC Magnum tribute car?

When I do go to get rid of them you'll be the first to know! Promise

          Digital dash - First draft!

This is almost like what's in my black Magnum XE

Now remember this is only my first draft, done on Windows paint
          so it's not perfect.

          From this:

          To this:

But this is pretty much what it will look like with a Carbon fiber face.

I'll be taking the Nordskog gauges and will rebuild and add to them to
          get this look.

This is only about 1/4 of the digital equipment going into this car.

          Other interior projects:
          Center Consol
          Upper consol
          and one more?

            Looks good to me.
I like the idea of Digital gauges, matches the clock.

I want to see some one drop a Modern 5.7 Hemi in one.
            Tag your it....lol

Project Magnum GT Digial dash (Part 4)

A this time I do not have my main computers up & running
so all I have is Windows Paint on the laptop to show the direction
              I'm going here!

Try to see this in Black/leather and Carbon fiber!

Nothing here is set in stone yet for these ideas.

              and the Upper Consol

              Yeaa or neaa?

Between $2000-3000 just for the dash. It is all custom made!

                      Speedometer - Nordskog customized

                      Tachometer - Nordskog customized

                      Right board pod:
Oil psi,Water temp, voltage & fuel gauges -
Nordskog gauges totally reboarded and meters
added with Message center at the bottom.

                      Left board pod:
Twin radar/laser detectors with remote pick ups
Custom made compass with duel read outs
and an custom operation info center

Everything functions, NO dummy gauges like the Kitt/Knight Rider cars
                      Unless you want some?

The reason I use the Nordskog gauges is that it's cheaper than building
them from scratch and less time consuming.

My other Black Magnum XE has a digital dash that I made from scratch
due to nothing avaliable cheaper at the time.

Project Magnum GT Digial dash (Part 5)

                        The Concept:

Removed all light bulbs and wiring board from the back of the dash frame.
Saved it in a box marked "Tach dash assembly parts" for future ref. and then sprayed flat black paint over the existing white areas.

Have to go to the local parts yard to find the lower half of the dash. It also will look different when done.

They remind me of the old cyberdyne gauges when they first came out years ago.

I thought Cyberdyne had better looking gauge than they do now? They got cheaper looking with the little single color bar graphs. Still better that Dakota Digital, LED displays are easyer to work with.
