    There are different versions of these lamps. Some draw more current than the stock lamps. Since the lamps are all fed by basically a printed circuit I would be careful when substituting a lamp that draws more current than the original.

    I think these printed circuits are the problem with so many amp guages not working.

        Another thing you may want to update is the is the instrument voltage regulator to a updated solid state one as well. RTE (Real Time Engineering) sells one for $60 shipped.
