  • harmonic balancer question

Hi all! I am building a 1973 cuda 340 stroker, 4 inch stroke. I bought the crankshaft a while back so not sure if it's a scat part no. 9-340-4000-6123-2123 or a eagle part no.103404000. It's a cast crank. The crank has been balanced. My question is the harmonic balancer I have is summit part no 64277 is this the right harmonic balancer? If not which one do I need. Thanks for y'alls help

I was just on their site and looked at that part number.. here is the other one they list . sum-b64278 for the street strip 340.. looks like the 2nd one here weighs a bit more and has the counter bolts removed.. the one you list is for a driver side timing pointer.

Thanks yeah I looked at their site also and saw that part no. I was wondering if the one i have will work cause the crank and rods have been balanced so my thinking is the rotating mass has been balanced so I was figuring the motor has been internally balanced so I don't need the harmonic balancer to balace the engine. Right
