  • Need to Find for LRE

after three years of sitting, finally got my first Little Red Express running great.
    • Pumped out gas tank
    • Rebuilt carb
    • someone put a square bore carb on Spread bore intake, so I installed an adaptor
    • Replaced leaky fuel lines that used 5/16 hardlines with 3/8 hoses
    • Replaced alternator
    • Replaced battery
    • Cleaned up some wiring
    • Filled up wit 93 Octane and drove hard to blow everything out

    I still need to
    • Reinstall glove box liner taken out to replace heater core
    • Unbind Heater control cables
    • Get a power steering dip stick that I appear to have lost driving yesterday
    • Find out why radio doesn't work
    • Take for frontend alignment and straighten steering wheel
    • Pull wheels and inspect brakes (feel good, just safety check)
    • Replace dark rear view mirror
    • Replace cheesy plastic gas cap with correct chrome
    • Locate and replace the plastic end of the column shifter
Then this detail this near perfect 66,000 truck and sell. I bought the truck about ten hears ago and drove occasionally jntil I found one with AC. I then sold to my son who had said he always wanted one. I few years later bought it back when he needed money for an engagement ring.

Now I'm trying to reduce my herd by 2/3 and will sell this one when I finish, but want to make it perfect first.

Anyone know where I can locate the plastic end of the shifter, the correct gas cap, and the correct manual day/night RV mirror.
