  • Lifetime oil filter(?)

Anybody ever hear of a company called K and P Engineering (http://kandpengineering.com)? They manufacture a "lifetime" oil filter that has applications for Mopar, GM. Ford, etc. I ran across the product at a recent car show event that I attended. The filter was being touted by Bob Mazzolini himself (http://www.bobmazzoliniracing.com/)

What's the general opinion of these type filters? Are they worth the initial cost or are you better off sticking with the use once and toss filters? This would be for a street driven car - my Road Runner - not track.

Was going to fix the K&P link in your post but I guess I'm not a mod here anymore.....anyways, I like the idea of reusable items like that.

Thanks, Cranky. I corrected my original post. I like the reusable aspect; less trash to toss into landfills.

Race cars use something like this called a System One There's a lot of debate between engine builders aboit these. On my race cars I use a Baldwin B1 or WIX 51515R and street WIX 51515.
