Just got this in last night- Me and Slim went to Illinois Friday and got it- Going to do something a little different- same car as Fugly only a 4 door-not telling what I am up to yet- it will become obvious later. In very good shape compared to what I usuually see- the only problem on the bottom is the front floor- rear and trunk perfect. Also found a 50's Revere reel to reeel in the trunk, and some new looking dog dish caps. New in box distributor cap and rotor ($2.69 price tag). Runs and drives nicely except for no brakes-/6 auto with 8.75....

    Now this should be interesting.

The reel-to-reel is probably worth more than the car.

Except for the steering wheel, it's a twin to the one my dad bought new in '61, so I'll be interested in seeing it restored.

My mother had a 2 door 61 Fury that color in the late 60s.

Found a photocopy of the original title in the glovebox and her death certificate and transfer to the guy I bought it from. Seems she boaught it in Mar 61 at the young age of 72, passed away at the age of 101. So it;s a 2 owner car.....I am not exactly going to restore it- there will be some modifications...

Modifications? I usually refer to them as Freshening Up.
