    This is an odd one to me, I was wondering how exactly this would have been done to work.

    727, will start up in P-R-N-D-2-1.
    '67 Dart 270 4 door '72 340(9.5:1), 727, 8-3/4", A/C, original interior, big bolt discs

    '77 Aspen SE 2 door '77 318, 998,8-1/4",A/C, Cruise control car,power discs,power steering

    You ground the neutral safety switch. I used to do this so I could start in any gear. It's pure hell you you mat the throttle and hit the ignition in gear. I scared the crap out of a neighbor once just because it was so sudden. One second things are quiet and the next second I'm frying tires and the straights are sounding off! lol

      Sounds like a neutral bad Safety switch!!
