Arrow Magnum XE GT Fender Flares and 3pc Magnumforce Spoiler

I'm building a set of molds right now of all 4 flares and the rear Magnumforce spoiler! The spoiler will be fiberglass or carbon fiber and the flares will be either fiberglass, carbon fiber or rubber with a metal frame similar to the original. I own (9) Magnums myself and had plan to do this years ago but, well, OK, just never got around to it!? I am a 26 year/ tooler that has worked mostly with cars but has done so much more.

As for the fit of the flares: The rubber flare tend to peel back away form the car when the metal frame rusts and/or the sun warps them, but normaly does not scratch the body due to vibration when driving. The fiberglass will hold there shape better in time and are eazy to repair. And of course the carbon fiber is lite weight & cool looking.

Please give me a clue if there's a market for them!

Welcome to Style!!

I do not have a Magnum, but, judging from the amount of people here that do, yes, there is a market!!

Everybody is looking for them, but the big question is quality of the reproductions, and the price. People are buying entire parts cars just for the flares!

Hey, you have a PM.

Welcome. So between you and me, we've corraled most of the Ohio Magnums.

Funny how we've not crossed paths somewhere

If the spoiler fits a 75-77 doba the I would definitely want one.

I wonder what a doba would look like with the big flares?

^^^^ same as the Magnum.

I think the two biggest things for these cars are the flares and sail panels that people would buy multiples of if the price were favorable. One for immediate and one as a back-up. Possibly a third because "one never knows". The spoiler is second in that train of thought as far as aftermarket. While not everybody will want one, there will be quite a few out there that would purchase.

What's that line? If you build it, they will come.

BTW.... Bill, maybe he's the evil Dr Jeckyll to your Mr Hyde? You could have 9 extra Magnums stored somewhere and a mold making business and not even know it, huh? lol. ( Ohio water... does strange things)
