Default VHT Outlawed by NASCAR

They will no longer allow VHT to be used in the pits at NASCAR -- because it isn't environmentally friendly.

With NHRA not allowing certain brake fluids and having a host of other new green rules -- I wonder when they're forced to stop using VHT and use something stupid like Sugar water instead.

Paint? Never known them to put VHT paint down for traction.

I guess 'pits' threw me thinking about NHRA using it and not CRASHCAR but I suppose some if not all the teams use it? I thought they didn't want a lot of grip when leaving the pits so they don't break stuff??

They use it while the tires get up to temp -- but more importantly for the pit crew not to slip and fall running around the car. They're now spreading sugary drinks like Hawaiian Punch in the pits.

Oh Bru-thur

Time and again we see evidence of no global warming, pollution numbers being manipulated, how long are we catering to these tree-huggin' politically correcto-maniacs?

Default wow...

This is just getting ridiculous. Doesn't an organization as big as NASCAR or the NHRA have enough clout to stand up and say 'no' to the people - or is it people inside the two groups calling these shots?
