Thats haulin some but. Real good for an injected car. I think the record holder for pro mod in a blower car is Scott Cannon Jr. with his superbird, i am not sure but i believe he ran a 5.93 might be lower then that. It was last year so dont hold me on that time..

He might be the first to run a 5 at Bradenton, might eb the first injected car in the 5's, not sure realkly but by no means is he the first Pro Mod to run a 5. At the SCSN race in November in Vegas Coby Rabon went 5.98 in a brand new car(EFI/Turbo). FWIW Musi went 6.27 at the same race. Been a bunch of cars in the 5's already. Scotty Cannon JR is I believe the record holder at 5.73 252 in a Superbird or Daytona whatever they call it. Russo went 5.98 in 2008. Filkins went 5.989 in 2007. All of those were blown cars. I believe the first Nitrous 5 second car was Jim Halsey at the shakedown last year with a 5.99.

I hadn't realize that 5s had been broken into yet.

I guess I been watching too much NMCA. There the Extreme Street cars are really ProMods (at least I've been to believe that) and they're still in the sixes. Frankly I don't follow the Extreme Street rules close enough to know all of the reasons.

That link is being slow right now, said they are having problems. So i have only got to read a little bit but i will keep trying. As far as i have gotten was when it came up for sale and you bought it, the cost to run them 2yrs. in the IHRA . Just loved that car ever since i saw a video of it from Onebadsuperbird.. Thanks for putting up the link!
