Default Spark Plugs ?

What plugs should I use. Hot,Cold or does it matter? 500 w/11:1 alum heads and 100 octane fuel. Used on the strip 99% of the time. As always I have most likely left out some important info so let me know what you guys are using.

On a side note: Is this motor streetable? I say yes but my dad thinks it would be hard on the motor. 500 w/11:1,alum heads, mid 600 solid cam and the trans will be a manual value body,3500 stall 727 and 4:10. when I say streetable I means 20-30 mile trips and 93 octane pump gas.

I use Autolite Racing Plugs (side-gapped) AR3932 in the three 580/588 motors I have (Indy 572-13 & 440-1 heads) and the Small Block 408 (Indy 360 heads).

, if your health care plan is so great -- why is it that you, your wife, your kids, and the Congress are the only ones exempt?

What's hard on a motor is a lousy tune up. Strip tune is usually on the rich side so it might be a bit hard on the rings if it has to idle a lot and the plugs will probably foul faster. Low rpm might mean you don't give the valve springs all the oil they like with a high lift cam....

I prefer NGK, easiest to read IMO. Go with a -8 and you should be good.
