Default pics of the 71 in daylight

All in all not too bad- needs floor and trunk pans, bottom corner of the pass door needs fixed, a small amount of the quarters...better than I usually start with...

Not bad at all. In fact, perfect for what you want to do with it. Dang 3 on the tree, heater only, manual brakes, manual steering. Must have been pretty rare in 71 for such a stripped down car to make it down the assembly line.

I think you did damn good on this one. Well worth the price and then some.

, if your health care plan is so great -- why is it that you, your wife, your kids, and the Congress are the only ones exempt?

I agree with the pictures. Wish I would have taken a few more than I did with my car. It is cool to look back at what you started with and where you end up. I did my car as a driver. Not sure how you are restoring yours. But with pictures. You see a lot of the little stuff you did that you tend to forget about after a while. That is going to be a nice car when it makes it back on the street.

Good starting point and I know it will be a work of art when you finish.

I'm not so sure that this car will be going back to the street.....I have an inkling this might be destined for the dragstrip???...........YES? Heck, the body has already been "acid dipped" for weight reduction.........LOL!

Don't any of you remember the "Swiss Cheese Pontiacs" of the early '60's?....holes drilled everywhere to reduce weight!

No swiss cheese on this one R- may actually make a real street car out of this one with lights and radio and all that excess crap....
