Tastefully Modified 6-Speed Challenger for Sale or Barter
I bought the first 6-speed Challenger to hit Houston, despite being a RT when I was really looking for a SRT8. A few weeks later a friend in North West Arkansas called to tell me that the 6-Speed SRT8 he’d ordered the year before had finally arrived — but that he couldn’t work out a reasonable trade in. He told me I could have it if I could be there tomorrow, — which I was. That gave me the problem of having two new black 6-speed Challengers.
This is what the car looked when I first picked it up.
So I had a $10,000 custom paint job applied to the RT. The Cadillac Metallic Pearl red alone retails for $1200 a gallon.
The car was properly disassembled and the factory paint wet sanded. Parts were painted off the car and then the car reassembled.
I drive the car on nice days a couple of days a month. It is better than new.
On July 5th — the car shows a little over 4000 miles.
Other modifications include a module that eliminates that stupid 2nd gear gate lock, and I’ve installed a part that does the T-Bird sequential taillight on turns. This car is like new, never spent a night outside in its life, and needs nothing.
I have $45,000 in the car — but will let it go for $30,000. It is very unique.
