Description: I really hate to sell with all the work I've got into this, but I'm concentrating on other projects that I can afford to finish sooner

1972 Plymouth Scamp
Originally a slant auto grandmas car, purchased in July of 2005
Body & Interior
b5 blue, in and out. Needs carpet (carpet is out), and front bench could use recovering.
This car is a hoot to drive, but the bench seat doesnt exactly hold you in place real well, Ive got a drivers side corbeau seat bracket that was never installed that would get you started getting some decent seats in it if you plan on Really driving it as opposed to cruising. the bench is super springy and comfy and really absorbs the bumps that the suspension doesnt

body is very straight, couple of shopping car dimples in doors, and a dent in rear valence. was a vinyl top car, so has some rust in C pillars but its not rusted through. there is absolutely no rust anywhere else.
The factory didn't put very much paint on the roof, and the paint is baked through (original paint) and is getting some surface rust on the very back of the trunk lid. (think of car parked in carport its entire life with the sun just hitting the back of the trunk) The paint still waxes up good, but there's probably not enough left to buff it out.

Drivetrain
1976 engine and trans from dart a38, trans is freshly rebuilt with less than 300 miles using Mancini's kit
http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/mapopashreki.html
318 engine has 268/272 purple cam, small tube headers, dual 2.5" exhaust with glasspacks, side exit in front of the rear wheels. Has Edelbrock Streetmaster intake and rebuilt Holley 4160 600cfm.
8.25 rear with 3.55 open.
brand new driveshaft from Six States Distributors.

Suspension
K member and rear axle out of '76 a38 dart, 1.09 torsion bars up front, stock police spec leaves out back.
Front and rear sways from a38 dart
all 4.5" bolt pattern with the big cordoba disc brakes in front, and the big police drums in rear this car has manual brakes but stops on a dime and you could run a road course without the brakes fading
A little about the a38 dart police package
http://www.allpar.com/squads/police-cars/valiant.html

new KYB gas-a-justs shocks all around
everything rebuilt with poly bushings with the exception of the lca to k member and the swaybars (new poly end links though)
has brand new slider calipers and Firm Feel brake pads, adjustable proportioning valve, and a new large bore master cylinder.
has firm feel police spec steering box with cooler from a38 dart. the steering is tight and responsive
Rolls on 15x7 mopar cop car wheels with cop (vented) dog dish caps, and new 225/50/15 falken tires all around.

I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of brand new parts, engine runs strong and has great oil pressure. has sweet vintage sun tach
Since completion, I have put only about 300 miles on the car, so everything I replaced is still brand new.
The car runs and drives great but is a little cold blooded on cold mornings because the choke is not hooked up.
