1979 Lil Red Express Truck: D13JS9S174464
This is a 1979 Lil Red Express truck I have for sale. I bought in 2006 from another Moparts member here who pulled it out of a barn. Since then, I have done as much work as I could without breaking myself too much.
I have done the following to the truck:
99 360 Magnum Conversion; Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Intake with a new Holley 600 4160 carburetor. The engine was rebuilt prior to installation. I have only logged around 700 miles on it since.
Transmission is a 727 with a B&M Shift Kit and had a new converter installed prior to my purchase. Also, the transmission was refreshed before my purchase and has since logged about 4k miles of driving mostly highway.
Bouchillion Performance Kickdown Setup
Summit Racing Aluminum Radiator
Summit Racing 17K GVW Transmission Cooler
New Transmission Lines

B&M Flexplate
Braided New Radiator Hoses and Belts
Holley Red Electric Fuel Pump

New Mopar Performance Distributor
Mopar Orange Box ECU

Bouchillion Pulleys and Alternator Bracket except Power Steering
New Alternator
New Battery
New Battery Cables
Seats Recovered using Legedary Covers
NOS Mirror Base and Heads
Cooper Cobra 275/60/15 tires with less than a 1k miles on them.
New Stainless Chains
NOS DODGE Emblem on Hood
NOS Brake Pedal Pad and E-Brake Pad
New Grant Tuff Steering Wheel and Horn Cap
New Blankupt CD Player with Remote
New Pioneer Speakers
Amp Gauge Converted to a Voltmeter
NOS Speedometer
Whitefaces on Gauges
New Sending Unit installed prior to my purchase
Newer Soft Tonneau Cover with Support Bars.
Okay the bad is the paint is 15 years old and will need paint. There is some rust here and there. The wood on the outside will need refinished but appears to be still in good shape overall
The bumpers will need rechromed eventually but, if the truck gets what I want then I will get a new reproduction bumper for it; The floor pans do have a few holes but, not horrible. I did try to rust bullet the floor because the rust was caused by leaky vent windows. The wheels will need rechromed as well eventually. The brake booster is bad and plugged off but, I still have drove it 700 miles and it has been a secondary driver.
I asking $10k or obo. With the purchase you will get the owner's manual; a Factory Service Manual; A California Car Cover; If you desire you can also have the factory engine which is in pieces and I have a Holley 600 and the Thermoquad as well. I also have a new Battery Tray which I have yet had painted. I have run out of time and money and would like to see this go to a good home.

I also wanted to add that I have some new seals for the truck, door handles, it does have a hitch reciever to tow your car or race car with and new power steering hoses. I plan on getting the brake booster fixed as well. Additonally, I do have the factory radiator; some A/C components I pulled off the truck. The cruise control items are there but, do not work. Any other questions feel free to contact me.
