1972 CUDA $27,000 OBO
This is a brand new turn key race car. You will not find a cleaner Cuda at the track. We just finished it as a winter project and it only has 5 passes as you see it. I bought this car 1 year ago and it was just finished by the previous owner. We liked a lot about the car and wanted to make some improvements. As you read below you will see that this is a new race car. The front frame rails were capped and finished off and every inch of this car was touched with paint or new parts. The original fire wall is in still there along with the original frame rails just in case you may have class restrictions that require them.
Chassis:
Full frame with additional pipe, 14 pt cage.
Rear:
ART double adjustable ladder bars, braced rear end housing, 4.88 strange gears (built by Pyle Bros Perf Diff’s), 35 spine Moser axles, QA-1 adjustable coilovers, large tubs that will hold a 33 X 16 tire, and new drive shaft with Spicer u-joints.
Up front:
New CAP tubular K-frame (very light, very strong), upper/lower control arms and aluminum break struts, the front frame rails have been capped with 16ga sheet metal for strength and looks great (there was no rust on the stock frame rails), QA-1 adjustable shocks, Willwood breaks with all new break lines and line lock.
Wheels:
Front: Weld 2.0 Aluma Stars, and Moroso 24 X 4 DS-2's
Rear: Billet Specialties 15 X 12 with Hoosier slicks (29 X 12 with 5 passes)
Body:
Fresh paint, fiberglass trunk lid, fiberglass 1 piece front end (removable), ART carbon fiber fuel cell access door, 4' fiberglass cowl hood, new tented lexan, new door seals, doors have been lightened with new aluminum inside panels, new tail lights, working front and rear lights.
Interior:
All new aluminum, Zero floor pan rust, new carpet (just looks better than painted steel), new harness (4/09), Turbo Action Cheetah reverse pattern with air shift, aluminum air cylinder, Ultra Lite gauges, carbon fiber tach, removable steering wheel with line lock control button and trans break button, 2 aluminum Kirkey race seats.
Electronics:
All MSD, hide away Plexiglas panel under passenger side dash includes: 6AL, 3 step, RPM module selector (Burn out limiter), RPM activated switch (air shift control) and a security power switch.
Transmission:
PTC with manual reverse valve body, Pro Trans break and a 5600 stall 8" Turbo Action converter and trans cooler.
Fuel System:
This engine is currently running on 111 race gas but the fuel system will support alcohol with just a carb change. New 950 HP carb, new Holley Black fuel pump, new steel braded fuel line, 5 gal fuel cell, Edelbrock billet alcohol regulator, Wilson 1” Spacer.
Cooling System:
Afco 4 core radiator, Moroso electric water pump, fan with full shroud.
Engine:
340 stroked to 414, Mopar 4" crank, Eagle H beam rods, CP pistons (that's right, CP pistons at $1600/set), 11.5:1 compression, Millodon 4 bolt main caps, Performer RPM heads with substantial porting, Crane Gold 1.5 roller rockers, Smith Bros push rods, full roller Bullet Cam .638 lift 278 duration, Comp 828 solid roller lifters, Super Victor intake, Moroso electric water pump, Mopar Performance distributor, Moroso 8.5mm race wires, Hooker 1 3/4" Super Comp headers, remote oil filter mount, 8qt Moroso deep sump pan, aluminum valve covers. This engine will support up to a 400 shot of nitrous (none ever used on this motor).
I have many more pictures from the build if interested.
