1966 Dodge Coronet Convertible 440 500 ci. Aluminum headed beast!
Work is slow and I need cash so here it go's. I built this car over the last 2 years. All parts listed as new have less than 100 miles on them! This car makes an estimated 550 hp at the crankshaft and has a professionally installed Nitrous Cheater kit complete with bottle warmer, purge through the cowl, and stand alone fuel pump and pressure regulator. No expense was spared on this build mechanically. You can jump in and drive this car anywhere, no problems, guaranteed!
Here is a list of new parts installed. I'm sure I will miss a lot but you'll get the picture.
Professionally built 440 using 440 Source 500 ci. Stroker rotating assembly.
Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads and intake
Crane gold series roller tip rockers
Comp Cams flat tappet 294/567 int 299/579 ex. Solid cam
Mopar finned aluminum valve covers
Hooker Competition headers
custom 3” exhaust with Flowmasters. Sounds awesome!
Professionally rebuilt 727 trans
3200-3600 stall convertor
all new 3rd member with conical style posi and 355 gears. Perfect for cruising
hd driveshaft with aluminum bolt in safety loop
Schumacher motor mounts
4 KYB gas shocks
4 wheel disc breaks!
Professionally mini tubbed, does not interefere with back seat
Strange axles with 3" x 1/2" studs
Welded in sub-frame connecters
Super stock leaf springs
Leaf spring relocater kit. Springs moved in 2” for tire clearance
Trunk mounted fuel cell 17gal. (I think)
Quick Fuel 830 cfm carb set up for this specific combo
MSD 6 ignition box and wires MSD Pro Billet distributor
MSD timing retard for nitrous use.
All new Legendary interior, seats, panels, carpet, sound barrier, sun visors, boot
B&M carbon Fiber pistol grip ratchet shifter
VFN hemi style hood scoop
braided steel lines and fittings
OEM style fan and clutch, will not run over 180!
front to rear brake pressure adjuster (forget technical name)
Weld wheels (choice of 2 different styles and tires)
This car came to me from Texas. Rust free/straight/ 318 poly w/ac. I have original motor/trans if potential buyer is interested. I stripped the original white paint and painted it Mopar B5 blue. The paint is nice but not perfect. Trunk, engine compartment, door jambs etc.. were all painted. I know I am forgetting a lot. As I stated, I hate to sell this car but my work has definitely slowed down so some toys must go! I will post more pics later. The 5 star Weld wheels in photos dont go w/ car. I have a set od Weld Draglites w/ Hoosier 275s and new fronts I will put on car for more pics. I also have a set of stock looking painted steel wheels with brand new Mickey Thompson street radials on all 4 corners. I will post a pic of thesee as well.
