For sale is a NOS (as in NEW, never installed) Carter Thermoquad carburetor, Carter #9368S. Application lists this for 1983 318 light duty truck. It has the smaller 1 3/8" primaries, has EGR port, both vacuum ports (ported and manifold), and factory sealed idle adjustment screws and tamper-proof choke. It has the electric bowl vent, but does NOT have O2 feedback computer control! This carb is brand new, and never been installed on a vehicle, but I cannot guarantee it because of it's age. It has the throttle return dashpot for std. shift vehicles, which can be easily removed for another application. The dashpot is damaged, probably in storage or shipping, and would need to be replaced if you are going to need it.
These carbs in new condition are almost non-existant, having been discontinued in 1984! This would be a perfect replacement for any Mopar using a Thermoquad carb, as it can be modified for almost any application. Idle screw adjustment plugs can be removed, as can the choke adjustment tampering cover.
I do not think you will find another one of these anywhere!
